I understand that my duties in the Advisory Council for the William Penn School District is to support the staff and program objectives effectively to sustain quality programming for the students, families and community.

My term to serve on the advisory council will not exceed the duration of the Cohort 4 grant obligations which end June 2010. This advisory council is informal but provides an opportunity for community partners, parents, students and staff to come together and discuss the need for effective quality afterschool programs in the community.

The advisory council shall meet no more than two times per year as a whole body with a minimum of four members attending. The project director at any time will call upon advisory council members for expertise and advice about programming, community trends, and other information that may affect the afterschool program.

I agree to participate to the best of my ability on the council to offer my assistance as volunteer, support special events, facilitate workshops and support the overall effectiveness of the objectives of the 21^st Century Afterschool program at the William Penn School District.
