Successes in 2008-2009
Goals for 2009-2010
1.To expose students to the field of
Performing Arts as a career option, students participating in the Future
Forward Afterschool Program Performing Arts Club toured New York City and attended a Broadway show.
2.Future Forward Afterschool Program GIS
(Geographic Information Systems) Project students attended WashingtonCollege’s
GIS Camp. Students lived in the dormitory, attended classes, and took
their meals in the college’s dining hall. This enabled students to
experience college life.
1.Future
Forward Afterschool Program students will have access to tutoring in Math,
Science, Social Students, and English by certified teachers. This
tutoring center will assist students who are struggling with academic courses
and build self-development and study skills.
2.The
Future Forward Afterschool Program will sponsor parent workshops in career
planning, ESL services, parenting and community awareness activities in order
to support the partnership between
school and community.
